AI Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

These Terms of use govern your use of the Dogtor Koda AI wellness support (“Dogtor Koda”), a virtual pet wellness assistant application (beta v 1.15) delivered through WhatsApp, provided by Blue Pet Co., an Irish company registered and operating under Irish law. By using Dogtor Koda, you agree to these Terms, as well as Blue Pet Co.’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict between these documents, these Terms shall govern your use of Dogtor Koda.
Emergency & Veterinary Care
Dogtor Koda is not an emergency service and does not replace advice from a qualified veterinary professional. If your pet may need urgent care, including symptoms such as breathing difficulty, collapse, seizures, suspected poisoning, severe bleeding, trauma, repeated vomiting, inability to urinate, severe pain, bloating, pale gums, or sudden serious changes in behaviour, you should contact a veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic immediately. Dogtor Koda may provide general wellness guidance, but it should not be used to decide whether emergency or professional veterinary care is needed.
Product and Supplement Guidance
Dogtor Koda may provide general information about Blue Pet Co. products, wellness routines, and supplement use. This information is for general guidance only and is not medical advice. Blue Pet Co. supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Always follow the product label and feeding instructions. If your dog has a medical condition, is taking medication, is pregnant, has allergies, or has special dietary needs, consult a veterinarian before using supplements.
AI Technology Provider
Dogtor Koda uses AI technology provided by OpenAI, WhatsApp platform and Twilio to help generate responses. Information you share with Dogtor Koda may be processed by OpenAI and other service providers where necessary to operate, maintain, and provide the service. Blue Pet Co. does not sell your Dogtor Koda conversations. Use of these services are also subject to third party technology providers’ acceptable use policies and terms. This includes restrictions on but not limited to:
- Harmful, deceptive, or misleading use;
- Abuse, harassment, or hate speech;
- Use of the system for illegal, obscene, or regulated activity
Informational Use Only – No Medical, Diagnostic, or Prescriptive Advice
Dogtor Koda provides general pet wellness guidance in English for informational purposes only. It does not provide medical diagnoses, prescriptions, emergency care, or professional veterinary assessments. You should not rely solely on Dogtor Koda for any health-related decision about your pet. Always consult a qualified veterinary professional when your pet is unwell or in need of care.
AI Limitations & Disclaimer
Dogtor Koda uses third-party AI technology to generate responses in English language based on the prompts you enter. By its nature, AI-generated content may:
- Be incomplete, incorrect, or outdated;
- Misinterpret your question;
- Sound authoritative without being factually accurate.
- Other languages whilst can be used may be incorrect translations of responses
You acknowledge that:
- You use Dogtor Koda at your own discretion and risk;
- Blue Pet Co. makes no guarantees about the accuracy, usefulness, or suitability of any response;
- You waive any legal claims against Blue Pet Co. or its affiliates for losses or damages arising from reliance on the content generated;
- This service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind;
- You have an “active” Wellness Plan membership in good standing to use Dogtor Koda.
Prohibited Uses
You must not use Dogtor Koda to:
- Generate or promote illegal, harmful, or abusive content;
- Create or disseminate false, misleading, or deceptive information;
- Violate any law, third-party rights, or terms of our model providers;
- Engage in spamming, surveillance, harassment, or impersonation.
- Posting images or videos into the WhatsApp stream
Misuse of Dogtor Koda may result in suspension or permanent revocation of access.
Professional Use Restrictions
Dogtor Koda may not be used to provide or interpret:
- Legal, medical, veterinary, or financial advice;
- Regulated services (e.g. insurance, eligibility assessments, hiring decisions).
The AI is not a licensed or accredited professional and must not be relied on as such.
Data Privacy, Personalisation & Storage
Dogtor Koda does not use your conversation data to train AI models.
However, your conversations may be used by Blue Pet Co. to:
- Provide personalisation and a better user experience;
- Monitor for misuse;
- Improve service quality.
Conversations are stored securely in encrypted cloud infrastructure and retained in accordance with our data protection policies. We do not process or store your IP address, and prompts are sent to AI providers only after all metadata containing personal information has been removed.
GDPR Rights & Data Requests
Blue Pet Co. complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:
- Access any personal data associated with your use of Dogtor Koda;
- Request corrections or deletion;
- Object to or restrict how we use your data;
- Request data portability.
To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. We may require identity verification to process your request.
In limited cases, Blue Pet Co. may retain data where legally required or necessary for safety, misuse prevention, or regulatory compliance.
Eligibility and Legal Capacity
By using Dogtor Koda, you confirm that:
- You are acting on behalf of yourself or your own pet;
- You have the legal capacity to agree to these terms;
- If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Access & Termination
Access to Dogtor Koda is provided only to customers with an active Blue Pet Co. Wellness Plan. If your plan is cancelled or suspended your access to Dogtor Koda will end immediately and without access further notice.
Blue Pet Co. may also suspend or terminate access at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms;
- Excessive or inappropriate use;
- Technical or security concerns.
We reserve the right to limit the number of messages, responses, or daily usage at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel or terminate service without notice at any time.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Blue Pet Co., its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and technology providers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your use or misuse of Dogtor Koda;
- Your reliance on any content generated;
- Any breach of these Terms;
- Your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
Modifications to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. If material changes are made, we will indicate this clearly on the page and update the “Last updated date” at the top of the page..
Where required by law, we will provide 14 days’ notice before such changes take effect. Continued use of Dogtor Koda after that period will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Relationship to Blue Pet Co. Terms
These Terms are intended to supplement and operate in conjunction with the general Blue Pet Co. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In case of any conflict, the Dogtor Koda AI Support vet terms take precedence for use of the AI service.
